The Office of His Highness the Duke of Royan, acting on behalf of H.H. Prince George IV, Duke of Royan, is seeking a Ducal Communications Manager to join our dynamic team in Luxembourg city.

As Ducal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of communication within the Ducal House. You will work closely with His Highness, the Spokesperson, the Secretariat and other team members to develop and implement effective and consistent communications strategies, ensuring a positive and consistent public image.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communications plan to support the objectives and initiatives of His Highness the Duke of Royan.
  • Oversee media content production and public relations management.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including speeches, statements and press releases.
  • Supervise the communications team and ensure that standards of quality and professionalism are maintained.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and public perceptions, adjusting communications strategy accordingly.
  • Ensure effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including media, government partners and external communications agencies.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field (communications, public relations, marketing or related field).
  • Proven professional experience in a strategic communications position, preferably in a government or royal environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to draft speeches and official documents.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent command of French and English, with knowledge of any other European language, such as Luxembourgish, an asset.
  • Strong work ethic, professional integrity and commitment to public service.
