Following the creation, in May 2024, of an annex of the Ducal Office in Copenhagen, the Office of His Highness the Duke of Royan, acting on behalf of H.H. Prince George IV, Duke of Royan, is looking for a Director of Cabinet to join our team in Denmark.

The Director of Cabinet is responsible for directing and supervising the operations of the ducal office, ensuring effective management of resources and providing strategic leadership. He works closely with His Highness, His Excellency the Ducal Representative in Denmark, the Luxembourg Central Office and other key staff to implement the Duke's vision and priorities.

Main responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategy and objectives of the ducal office in alignment with the priorities of His Highness.
  • Oversee the daily operational activities of the office, including the management of financial and human resources.
  • Represent the ducal office to external stakeholders, including government representatives, diplomats and members of civil society.
  • Ensure effective communication within the ducal office and with other departments of the ducal household.
  • Provide strategic advice to His Highness on political, diplomatic and administrative matters.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field (public administration, political science, law or related field).
  • Proven professional experience in a leadership role, preferably in a government or royal environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions in complex and changing situations.
  • Fluent command of French and English, with knowledge of any other European language, such as Luxembourgish or Danish, an asset.
  • Strong work ethic, professional integrity and commitment to public service.
